Sacred Dance
Sacred Dancers May 2006 The Koinonia Sacred Dance Team formed in 2002 with only eight people who wanted to find a new way to praise God. Sacred Dance continues in its 6th year of running. Rehearsals for the 2 groups are held on Tuesday nights in the church sanctuary. Children in grades K-4 meet from 7:00-7:30, while those in grade 5 and up meet from 6:30-7:00, just prior to youth group The team uses a combination of sign language and dance movement to express praise and adoration of our Lord Jesus Christ! The team occasionally shares dances during Sunday worship, as well as at the nursing home and parades. No previous dance experience is required. Just come in comfortable clothes and be ready to worship!
